    Plaquenil - does it take long time to work? - Lupus - Inspire I have been on it for about a month. I think my overall health has improved- less fatigue at least, but my joint and muscle pain is actually still getting worse. I'm on a low dose- 200 mg/day, but see Dr end of this month. I'm thinking either Plaquenil will be upped and/or my Predisone.

    Continuation of long term treatment with hydroxychloroquine.
